בחלל הגלריה של בצלאל במרכז ירושלים ישהו מסגרת התערוכה קבוצות פעולה שונות על מנת לחקור, ללמד, ליצור ולהציג אפשרויות של “התעוררות” – חברתית, אישית, רוחנית וחושנית. בין הקבוצות המשתתפות: מחתרת הפנינה, חוטווא, מגזין האף, הישיבה החילונית, סיוע לפליטים, ובית ריק. מיכל הלפמן, עיצוב ותיכנון החלל; אני נבו, פרויקט קיר.
אם באמת מאמינים באמנות, אז חייבים לחשוב על אפשרויות שימוש בטכניקות האמנותיות בשדות שונים. איך ניתן להפוך את האמנות לזירת תרגול והכנה לקראת נתיב פעולה מסוים? מה הן הטכניקות העכשוויות לפעולה ומה האמנות יכולה להציע להתעוררות הציבורית החדשה?
התערוכה “נסיונות בטכניקות של התעוררות” מתייחסת לאי-הידיעה ככר פורה ליצירה. כיוון שאמנות עכשווית היא פולילוג רב משתתפים, ישמש החלל המרכזי של יפו 23 כחלל חברתי חדש - אתר להתנסות ומחשבה, לרפלקציה ויצירה.
בפרק השני של התערוכה, מה-30 ביולי, אנחנו מארחים את פסטיבל מתחת להר של עונת התרבות בירושלים לעוד שבוע של סדנאות ומפגשים.
תיעוד התערוכה
In a space designed by Michal Helfman, local and international collectives will meet, lead workshops and conduct live performance on themes of physical, spiritual, and social awakening. Participants will include: The Pearl Underground, Public Movement, Slavs and Tatars, The Secular Yeshiva, HaAf magazine, Refugee Support, Empty House, Dani Gal, Palstinema, and more.
If we truly believe in art, then we must think of new ways of making art’s methods of operation applicable to other fields. How to make art a training ground for a particular course of action? What are the current techniques for action, and what can art offer to the new global awakening?
The exhibition, “Experiments in the Techniques of Awakening”, a misquote from Walter Benjamin’s Arcades Project, treats non-knowing as a fertile ground for creation. Artists are good at not knowing things and making this state a platform for creative activity. Therefore, in volitile times of transition we turn to art to provide the tools for playful experimentation, reflection and creation for the public to come.
